We all are aware of Google I/O. An event where Google announces its next steps or activities and more. Apple’s WWDC is similar to it. Apple also reveals its software updates, technology on which they are working on, and so on. It also releases the developer versions of the upcoming software updates.
In March of this year, as the physical gathering is no possible due to the pandemic condition, Apple already declared to shift this event online. Now, It announces this event is going to start on June 22.
In this WWDC 2020, Apple authority also going to announce a platform for students. This platform is called the ‘Swift Student Challenge’. This will be an opportunity for the young stars to code to develop their own Swift Playground. Apple’s SVP of Software Engineering Craig Federighi said, “As we look forward to WWDC20, altho our gathering will be virtual this year, we want to recognize and celebrate the creative contributions of our young developers from around the world. We can’t wait to see this next generation of innovative thinkers turn their ideas into a reality through the Swift Student Challenge.”
As I inform you earlier, WWDC20 is going to start on 22nd June and that is fully online. The participation is totally free for developers and accessible through the Apple Developer App and/or the Developer Website. All the interested young developers can register themself for the Swift Developer Challenge till 17th May 11.9PM PDT.
