With India serving as its main operational hub, it intends to keep producing in Asia. According to recent rumours, the Indian division of supplier Jabil has reportedly begun making parts for AirPods. Given the market share that AirPods have, this is a big milestone for the firm and India.

By 2020, instead of the current 5-7%, they want India to contribute 25% of its production.
