Following the launch of the M4 iMac, Apple introduced the new Mac mini with M4 chip on 29 October. This new model is a lot smaller and performs better, than the predecessor while being more efficient too; it also has data transfer rates in the top tier versions compared to its older version which is great! The All New Mac Mini with M4 and M4 Pro

The new Mac mini stands out for its size; at five by five inches in measurement, its footprint is less than half that of its predecessor, showcasing impressive engineering. Apple has improved the performance abilities of the Mac mini, with the M4 Pro chip release.  This chip can support up to 14 CPU cores (10 for performance and four for efficiency) and up to 20 GPU cores, making it a strong performer in terms of power and capabilities.

The M4 Pro processor can be found in the version, with 24GB of memory and 512GB of SSD storage and with configurations available up to 64GB of memory and 8TB of storage options. Additionally worth noting is that the Mac mini M4 Pro is the pioneer in its category to showcase three Thunderbolt 5 ports situated at the backside that deliver data transfer rates reaching up to 120 gigabits per second. Furthermore¸ the processor provides a memory of 273 gigabytes per second and supports up to three 6K displays at 60Hz.

The Mac mini with M4 chip features a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU combo alongside 16GB of memory and 256GB of storage, in its base configuration option It’s possible to customize it with up to 32GB of unified memory and 2TB of storage as well, as regular or high-speed Ethernet connectivity options. The M4 Pro version comes with Thunderbolt 5 ports exclusively; however the regular M4 Mac mini features three Thunderbolt 3 ports. Both variants also come equipped with one HDMI port, two USB C ports, and a headphone jack.
