The publication notes that the gap between the announcements of the M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max models and the latest computer presented in the series M4 was shorter than during the release of other machines on the Apple M1, M1 Pro, and M1 Max, so, given the importance of the report, it is not at all surprising that the Mac Studio and Mac Pro will not be shown in 2022. In the meantime, according to new estimates, no work-class machines will be shown until at least the middle of the summer of 2025.
New Mac Studio and Mac Pro Models Delayed by Apple
If a recent report is accurate, the Mac Studio and Mac Pro will not be presented this year. His forecasts regarding the launch date were depicted in an edition of Gurman’s newsletter, Power On. The models were revealed during the usual WWDC keynote in 2023, with the promise of updating to the M2 Ultra. However, the launch of M4 has suggested that Apple’s various teams might take a break, and that could mean the next high-end chipsets to power the Mac Studio and Mac Pro might not show up for up to two years or 24 months.
Apple has also been reported to have begun in earnest its development of the M4 MacBook Pro, although there have been no subsequent reports about the specific product. That doesn’t mean Apple isn’t working on the more potent versions of M4 since, as mentioned above, three versions are in development. M4 Max or M4 Pro is expected to be the most potent of them incorporated into the expensive and pricey MacBook Pro devices.
According to rumors, it will be available soon. With M4 Ultra codenamed ‘Hidra’ allegedly still in development, not much more can be said. Unfortunately, we were unable to obtain any other information about its specs, which means Colorful and its team effectively contained leaks on the chipset or it is in an early stage of development.
