The Cupertino giant recently announced the iPads and Smart Watches along with the fact that Apple is planning to host an event for its iPhone 12 series in October. The world is pumped up for its new iPhones as they will be the first 5G smartphones from Apple.

So, naturally, a lot of consumers can prefer an upgrade to enjoy 5G. This is the reason why Digitimes reports that Apple contractors Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai) and Pegatron will see a peak in their revenue in the fourth quarter of 2020.

Due to the pandemic there had been a delay in supply chains and manufacturing, but, finally, they will be shipping next quarter. Even component makers have already begun the shipments for Apple’s next-generation iPhones.

Largan, a lens module maker for iPhone, did see consolidated revenue for August return to above NT$5 billion (US$170 million).

As Digitimes says, the 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch models of the iPhone 12 series will become available in the early half of October. On the other hand, the 6.1-inch version and 6.7-inch variants (Pro) will hit store shelves in the latter half.

So, the large Apple contractors Pegatron & Foxconn may see a huge bump in revenue in the next quarter because the iPhone 12 series has a lot more potential than before.
