More About Apple Beats Solo 4

The new Beats Solo 4 details were uncovered within the iOS 17.4 test version showcasing their color and design features. It is anticipated that Apple might unveil these headphones soon during its Spring Event scheduled for the month. The tech giant is planning an event by March’s end to introduce the OLED iPad Pro versions as well as new MacBook Air models equipped with an M3 chip.

According to information shared by MacRumors Aaron Perris, the Beats Solo 4 headphones will maintain a similar design to the Beats Solo 3. With slight enhancements, for a better user experience. These improvements also draw inspiration from design elements found in the Beats Studio Pro model.

In addition, to the refreshed appearance the Beats Solo 4 is set to introduce features that will bridge the gap between it and the ‘Pro’ model along, with the AirPods Pro range. It is possible that the company might incorporate elements from the Studio Pro into the Solo 4.

It was also discovered in the iOS 17.4 release candidate code that Spatial Audio will be coming to the Beats Solo 4. While it is a major addition, we are not familiar with the rest of the features that will be making their way to the headphones. We can also expect Apple to bring improved sound quality to the headphones. Though it is too early to speculate, the company could bring the Beats Studio Pro’s gesture support to the Solo 4 as well.

In terms of looks, the Solo 4 will potentially come in three distinct color options – Black, Pink, and Blue. Another major change expected for the Beats Solo 4 is the new USB-C port instead of a micro-USB port. The new port will allow the headphones to follow the AirPods’ transition route.

Take note that the official feature set rests with Apple, so be sure to take the news with a grain of salt. As mentioned, Apple could see fit to launch the Beats Solo 4 at its Spring event; if not, we can expect the headphones to arrive later this year alongside the iPhone 16 lineup.
