Apple announces iPad Pro with M1 Chip starts at Rs.71,900

Apple worms the virtual stage with around seven new products and services today. Needless to say, each one comes not with just an update, it’s actually a breakthrough. We all witnessed the launch of Apple’s Credit Card service, Podcast service, Purple iPhone 12 and 12 Mini, Air Tag, Apple TV 4K, iMac, and the new iPad Pro powered by its own M1 chip.

The Breakthrough…

Apple assigned its highly powerful 5nm M1 Chip to the new iPad Pro. We are already aware of what performance the chip can deliver in the iMacs and iPhones launched last year. The M1 chip has an 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, and 16-core Nural Engine makes it the best in its class, takes the performance way far one can even imagine.

Apple claims M1 in the iPad Pro delivers up to 50% faster CPU performance, and up to 40% GPU performance. That means, all the users will get the smoothest performance ever, no matter how heavy the work is.

As the processor is the same as the iPhone and iMac, the syncing process becomes faster. There is a lot to explain, but that could be better if you can feel the processing power on your own.

Display…

The new iPad Pro is coming with two screen sizes – 11 inches and 12.9 inches. The 11-inch model houses a Liquid Retina display whereas the other variant has a Liquid Retina XDR display.

The Liquid Retina display has 600 nits of peak brightness. Besides, The Liquid Retina XDR display of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro has 1,000 nits of full-screen brightness and 1,600 nits of peak brightness (HDR). Both the screens support some very advanced display technologies such as P3 Wide color gamut, TrueTone, and ProMotion adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. Alongside, users will get a 10,00,000:1 contrast ratio on the 12.9″ screen.

Both the screens look stunning, perfect to nurture high-quality images, videos, and even online entertainment content.

Camera…

Apple puts three camera sensors in total to the new iPad Pro. The 12MP sensor has a 122-degree field of view with a new feature names Center Stage. It tracks your movements and shifts focus with you. It’s not the only one, the sensor automatically detects the second person if enters the screen and adjusts the field of view so that everyone can fit in one screen.

Hope you already aware of the LiDAR Scanner. It’s coupled with a 12 MP wide and a 10 MP ultra-wide main camera module. With the help of the camera module, you can capture the perfect picture you want to take or can film as well. Additionally, the iPad Pro camera now features the smart HDR 3.

Connectivity…

Connectivity-wise, the iPad Pro has two variants as usual – Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + Cellular. This device supports the latest Wi-Fi 6 and all the 5G bands that will help it to catch up with the processing speed.
