Gameplay from the third season of Apex Legends Mobile provides a closer look at Fade’s free signature weapon

According to the sources, Season 3: Champions of Apex Legends Mobile was just released, and it brought a lot of new features to the game. Following the release of a Season 3 gameplay trailer by Respawn, players got to see those features in action.

Apex Legends Mobile S3 Trailer Reveals

The trailer is brief and doesn’t provide many new details because players have already seen Ash, the first legend of Season 3, in the Season 3 launch trailer, even though it does provide players with another look at Ash’s skills. This, along with the most recent developer diary and patch notes, give gamers a pretty good idea of what to anticipate this season.

Specifically, the debut of the Rampage, The Coliseum Town Takeover, a spooky, unidentified Halloween event, and the Second Shot Blitz LTM with no Respawn Beacon required. The Champions gameplay footage does contain one unexpected surprise, though: there are a few hidden items in Fade’s Signature Weapon that players can discover. Although this was only briefly discussed in the patch notes, witnessing The Constellation’s evolutions for the first time was undoubtedly enjoyable.

Players got a good glimpse at Fade’s signature weapon, The Constellation, in last week’s launch video. Fade’s Signature Weapon appeared to shift during both the Season 3 launch trailer and the Meet The Constellation trailer, initially taking the form of claws akin to Wolverine, then changing into what seems to be a huge sword.

The majority of players believed Fade’s Signature Weapon would function just like the Heirloom Weapons found in Apex Legends’ console and PC versions. At first sight, it didn’t seem all that unusual that Fade’s Signature Weapon changed form in the trailer because Heirloom Weapons frequently feature highly intricate analysis animations.

About the Fade’s Signature Weapon

Unexpectedly, Fade’s Signature Weapon works more like the evolvable Prestige Skins found in Apex on console and PC, according to the gameplay trailer. It seems that Signature weapons, unlike Heirloom weapons, undergo aesthetic modification over time.

The Prestige skins in Apex evolve when players deal damage, yet there are only three possible evolutions available. To access Fade’s Signature Weapon in its final form, players must pass through six levels, each of which modifies the weapon’s look.

Signature Weapons, in contrast to Prestige Skins and Heirloom Weapons, are free to obtain through accumulating Signature Merits, but these items might cost hundreds of dollars, depending on how you obtain them. The good news is that you can gain a head start right away because several presently running seasonal events include Signature Merits among the rewards players may win for participating. You’ll need 400 of these to unlock The Constellation.
