Manchester United’s David De Gea, Anthony Elanga, Donny van de Beek to visit India

Nottingham Forest are set to complete the transfer of Anthony Elanga from Manchester United. The club has reached an agreement over a fee worth £15 million for the winger, and the player has given the green light for the move as well.

The forward has been with the Manchester United academy since 2015, and grew into the first team over the last few years. But due to the massive competition over minutes in the senior team, he will be moving on to Forest to have more playing time.

The player has made 39 Premier League appearances in his career so far, scoring and assisting thrice each. He hasn’t been able to nail down a starting spot, but has shown glimpses of his ability when given an opportunity.

With regular minutes and less pressure at Nottingham, the expectation will be for him to develop into a better player. In all likelihood, he will be joined by Dean Henderson, who is also expected to leave Manchester United for Nottingham Forest.

The goalkeeper will not be staying after the signing of Andre Onana, and the presence of Tom Heaton as the second choice goalkeeper. The goalkeeper will likely be joining on a loan deal for the coming season.

Forest are also optimistic of sealing a free transfer for Ola Aina in the coming days to bolster their squad.
