Borussia Dortmund are exploring a loan move for Manchester United winger Anthony Elanga. The youngster was a regular under former manager Ralf Rangnick, but has found playing time hard to come by under Erik Ten Hag.
With Marcus Rashford and Antony the two trusted wingers in the squad, there has been little room for Elanga to break through. The rise of Alejandro Garnacho has made it even more difficult for him to get minutes in rotation, and a loan move away seems like the best option for him right now.
Anthony Elanga linked with move away from Manchester United
Everton are among the other clubs keeping tabs on the situation, and could snap up the United academy graduate on loan.
Since making it to the first team, Anthony Elanga has managed 47 appearances for the first team. He has contributed to seven goals, and has earned a reputation as a prospect with a bright future. He has also earned a call-up to the Swedish national team, earning seven caps so far.
Dortmund have a reputation for developing talented wingers who have earned big-money moves later on. Jadon Sancho, currently playing for United, is one of those who have taken the same arc. But, Elanga could play with former youth player James Garner at Everton if a move to Goodison Park seems better for him.
Nothing has been finalised as of yet, and the decision is up to Manchester United.
