The most recent Android 14 beta build (QPR2 Beta 2) brings forth noteworthy modifications to battery management, unveiling a concealed “Battery Health” page within the Settings Services app on Pixel phones. There are indications that this page might also integrate with the Pixel-exclusive assistant, Pixie. Though presently accessible only through manual activation, the Battery Health page provides a comprehensive overview of battery performance, encompassing details on usage, health status, and functionalities like Battery Saver and Adaptive Charging.

All About Android 14 Beta Battery Feature

The concealed Battery Health page boasts several features designed to empower users to closely monitor their battery’s behavior. Users can examine information related to battery drain, cycle count, and overall health status. Furthermore, the status of essential features such as Battery Saver, Adaptive Charging, and Battery Share can be monitored to ensure their activation. An upcoming addition to this page is expected to allow users to recalibrate their battery, potentially enhancing accuracy.

It’s noteworthy that the Beta 2 version of Android 14 has omitted the Battery Information page introduced in QPR1. It’s important to convey to the readers that the Battery Health page is presently concealed and in the developmental phase. As such, its features and functionalities may undergo modifications before it is officially released to the public.

In summary, the latest Android 14 beta signals Google‘s commitment to enhancing battery management, offering users increased transparency and control over their battery health. The introduction of the Battery Health page and the planned recalibration feature underscores Google’s efforts to empower users with more comprehensive insights into and control over their device’s battery performance.
