According to sources cited by the publication, Bachchan is undergoing treatment for peripheral, not coronary heart issues. The insider clarified that an angioplasty was conducted on a clot in his leg, not on his heart.
Just before news of his hospitalization surfaced, Amitabh Bachchan shared posts on his social media platform in his usual style, noting the post numbers. In his 4,950th post, he expressed gratitude with the words “in gratitude ever.”
In another post marked T 4950, he shared a promotional video of his Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) team, Majhi Mumbai, urging everyone to support the team with the message “Open your eyes, hear if you can, Majhi Mumbai will emerge victorious. It’s time you accept this.”
Majhi Mumbai achieved a significant victory on March 14 against the Chennai Singams, owned by Tamil star Suriya. The team won by 58 runs, largely due to Abhishek Dalhor’s outstanding performance. With this win, Bachchan’s team has secured a spot in the final of the inaugural ISPL – T10 league.
