The Ryzen 9 7950X3D and Ryzen 9 7900X3D processors, two of AMD’s top gaming CPUs, have official price reductions of up to $100 at their online store. Currently, the Ryzen 9 7950X3D costs $599.99, while the Ryzen 9 7900X3D costs $549.99. The new discounts are offered immediately following the $449 Ryzen 7 7800X3D release.
The timing of AMD’s higher-core X3D chips couldn’t be more deliberate. We discovered that the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, which just made its debut yesterday and has an MSRP of $449, outperforms the more expensive Ryzen 9 7950X3D and 7900X3D in terms of pure gaming performance while being significantly less expensive.
