AMD Radeon RX 7900 GPU to feature upto 20Gbps of Memory speed

Greymon has been releasing additional information about the upcoming Radeon RX 7900 cards based on RDNA3 series over the past few days. These series should debut before new Radeon series models because they will only use the Navi 31 GPU.

The RX 7900 series will reportedly include 20 Gbps RAM, up from the previously reported 18 Gbps, according to the leaker. He also mentions the possibility of 24 Gbps memory in a future RX 7x50XT upgrade.

The Radeon RX 7900 series may provide a maximum memory bandwidth of 960 GB/s when coupled with a 384-bit memory interface and 20Gbps RAM. Note that Infinity Cache is not taken into account by this bandwidth.

Greymon also confirms the rumours that the debut of the Radeon RX 7000 series should take place in November. Although this information is not entirely new, it does support earlier reports that the RDNA3 series may debut six to eight weeks after the Ryzen 7000 CPU series.

For the Radeon RX 7000 series, which includes the Radeon RX 7900, RX 7800, RX 7700, and RX 7600 series, Red Gaming Tech claims to have the first lineup specifications. Historically speaking, it is extremely improbable that the RX 7700-7600’s specifications would be finalised, so we advise everyone to treat them with caution.

The information provided by RGT seems to support other leaks’ assertions, such as the one that Navi 31 will only be used by Radeon RX 7900 series GPUs. Radeon RX 7800 and RX 7700 series would, on the other hand, utilise the Navi 32.

The chart has a high level of uncertainty and several of the specifications are marked as “uncertain.” Even if this is based on accurate information, it is still extremely likely to alter as we approach closer to the introduction of certain models.
