AMD released its high-end Radeon RX 7900 “RDNA 3” GPUs last year, but no mainstream releases have followed. Of course, the company’s contribution to the newer generation’s laptop series, such as the Radeon RX 7700S, 7600S, and Radeon RX 7600M GPUs, is not included.

NVIDIA has released several desktop variations, including the GeForce RTX 4090, RTX 4080, and RTX 4070 Ti, as well as the upcoming GeForce RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 series. This has not been without complications for the company. However, gamers were underwhelmed by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 Ti GPUs due to their non-competitive pricing and significant price increase over their RTX 30 predecessors.

AMD experienced a vapour chamber issue with its Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics cards, which saw performance drop as temperatures rose, hurting sales shortly after their release.

AMD has had no other desktop graphics cards for users, and the company has responded to the missing desktop GPUs in a recent statement. According to the company, the remaining unreleased graphics cards will most likely be delayed slightly. The company could be waiting for the Chinese 618 Shopping Festival, which could be risky because the latest generation of graphics cards would still be unavailable on the market.

According to MyDrivers, AMD intends to release the Radeon RX 7800, RX 7700, and RX 7600 “RDNA 3” GPUs next, which will be very competitive and cost-effective in comparison to NVIDIA’s RTX 40 mainstream lineup.
