Finally, AMD has announced its new Radeon RX 6600 non-XT after launching the RX 6600 XT for over a month now, thanks to the chip shortage. Though targeted towards 1080p gaming, we told in our review of the RX 6600 XT that though its pricey, its performance is good with good stocks.

So, if you have some money to spend and finding it hard to get an entry-level cheap 1080p card, AMD has a solution for you – AMD Radeon RX 6600 non-XT. As AMD states in its press release, the Radeon RX 6600 Graphics Card Delivers Incredible High-Refresh Rate 1080p Gaming performance.

When compared to the RTX 3060, to this 1080p budget graphics card gives 1.3X better performance-per-watt than the competition in select titles at 1080p max settings. It is another Navi 23 GPU with 1792 Stream Processors, with a slight reduction of 256 cores from the full chip seen in the RX 6600 XT variant. 

AMD maintains to provide good VRAM, thanks to the 8GB GDDR6 memory, which is limited to the 128-bit memory bus and 14 Gbps speed. So, even though it has almost a nearly identical memory configuration to RX 6600 XT it has lower bandwidth of 224 GB/s.
