AMD’s Radeon RX 6800 XT has been launched, and we are seeing some pretty good results regarding the performance of the new card. Recently the AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080, and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 have appeared on the Ashes of the Singularity (AotS) benchmark, and the results are way too crazy.

The RX 6800 XT, RTX 3080, and RTX 3090 utilized the i7-8700K in the benchmark and scored the highest results. They were RX 6800 XT @102 FPS 10,100 points with the RTX 3080 @104 FPS 10,300 points and finally the RTX 3090 @105 FPS 10,400 points. Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 is not really for mainstream gamers, and it is more appealing to content creators and those involved with more complex processes than just gaming.

But Nvidia is still promoting the expensive card to “deliver the ultimate gaming experience,” which might be true in some cases. But the various benchmark results stand to prove that Nvidia is not only lacking in mainstream gaming but is also not providing enough results for gamers to accept its claim.

The combination of AMD’s and Nvidia’s GPU’s with various older and new processors only proves that AMD has better compatibility and performance management than Nvidia. Whereas in terms of graphical output for other tasks except gaming like designing and editing, Nvidia remains unbeatable. It will be worth watching these two go head to head in the Q1 of 2021. It seems that the semiconductor craze is still on.
