Amazon Luna, a cloud gaming service operated and developed by Amazon, is now available on Android, Amazon announced on Tuesday. When Amazon launched early access for the cloud gaming service on October 20, 2020, it left Android users out in the cold and made Luna available on Fire TV, PC, Mac, and iOS devices. Now, the e-commerce giant has revealed that Luna’s compatible devices and browsers list support the Android platform. You’ll have to access the service through the Chrome web browser, as there’s no separate app, just like the iOS version of Luna.

The cloud gaming service works on a channels-based model and has over 100 different games, where you pay a monthly fee for each channel of games you want access to. Right now, there are two channels available, the introductory offer for Amazon’s Luna Plus channel at $5.99-per-month, which has games from different publishers, and Ubisoft’s $14.99-per-month Ubisoft Plus channel, which offers Ubisoft games. (The $14.99-per-month package for the Ubisoft Plus channel will also provide you access to Ubisoft Plus on PC and on Stadia, which is Google’s cloud gaming service.)

Luna is only available in the US right now, and you can request early access here if you don’t already have it and if you do have early access and want to start playing Luna on Android, follow the instructions in this video below:

Right now, according to an Amazon spokesperson, who has shared with The Verge, a list of devices that currently support Luna’s Android version include some Pixel, Samsung, and OnePlus devices. Still, Amazon says during Luna’s early access period, they will add support for more Android devices. The full list released by The Verge includes:

Pixel 4XL, 4A, 4A 5G, 5

Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 Plus, Note 10, Note 10 Plus, S20, S20 Plus, S20 Ultra, Note 20, Note 20 Ultra

OnePlus 7, 7 Pro, 7 Pro 5G, 8, 8 Pro, Nord, 7T, 7T Pro, 7T Pro 5G

You’ll also need to be using specific versions of Android (9 or higher) and Chrome (version 86 or newer) to have access to Luna. You’ll be able to play games using Amazon’s own Luna controller as well as the Xbox One controller or PlayStation 4.
