Now the e-commerce platform Amazon is willing to invest in Indian telecom service. But the receiver is not Jio, it’s Bharti Airtel.

Amazon is in the initial stage to buy stakes of Airtel of a minimum of $2 billion. Based on the present valuation, it is around a 5% stake of Airtel. Needless to say, Airtel is India’s third-largest telecom operator having around 300 million users.

India is one of the fastest-growing markets in the World, no doubt. That’s why Amazon already committed to invest $6.5 billion here to its e-commerce business. And also wants to invest more in other sectors. It’s clear.

The company, amazon, already invested a good amount in our country to spread their products like voice-activated speakers, video streaming and cloud storage, and more. They took the hike of the internet and smartphone user count scenario as an advantage.
