ALLDAY PROJECT’s “CRASH” Takes the K-Pop Throne This Week

Some weeks the K-pop charts barely move. This isn’t one of them. ALLDAY PROJECT just snagged the crown, and an indie ballad is making a quiet comeback. Here’s the full rundown.

The Big Story: “CRASH” Is No. 1

ALLDAY PROJECT’s hip-hop track “CRASH” climbed one spot to take No. 1 in only its third week on the chart. Soyeon’s rock track “I’m gonna TOESA” slipped to No. 2, and ATEEZ’s “BAD” held firm at No. 3 in its 16th week. That staying power is hard to beat.

The Surprise: MEOMURU’s Comeback

The week’s only new Top 10 entry is MEOMURU’s “The Adult I Dreamed Of.” It jumped eight places to No. 8. The indie rock ballad came out back in June, and it’s about the gap between who we wanted to become and who adulthood turned us into. It’s a slow burn that clearly struck a nerve.

Fresh Faces Below the Top 10

Several newcomers are worth bookmarking:

• KickFlip at No. 20
• N.Flying at No. 22
• Onew & Zico at No. 25
• Yesung at No. 33
• Roy Kim at No. 50

How the Chart Is Calculated?

Soompi blends Circle (30%), Hanteo (20%), YouTube K-Pop (20%), Apple Music Korea (15%) and Soompi Airplay (15%). That mix captures both Korean sales and global buzz. Chart data courtesy of Soompi.

Why It Matters?

A chart like this shows how different K-pop is from one week to the next. Veterans such as ATEEZ and CORTIS keep their spots, while newer acts keep pushing in. For a broader look at the genre’s history, see the K-pop Wikipedia page.
