Psychonauts 2 is a brand new upcoming video game which is developed by Double Fine. Xbox Game Studios published this game. In the Game, Awards 2015 ceremony Double Fine announced this game. They also said this game will release on 25th August 2021. This game will be released on many platforms like macOS, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
Psychonauts 2’s gameplay is similar to its previous version. It is a third-person platform game like Psychonauts. In this game, users will control Raz who is a graduated Psychonaut. This Raz character has different powerful psychic abilities by this he can delve into other character’s minds. With this Raz character players of this game will use a different type of “Psi-Powers” like levitation, pyrokinesis, and telekinesis with some common power of this game, for exploring many non-player character’s mental worlds.
In the trailer, we can see that this game will pick up after the end of “Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin” where the head psychonaut was saved by Raz, Mila Vodello, and Sasha Nein. The Story of this new game start after Raz return to Psychonaut Headquarters and found out the organization changed.
The director of the Psychonauts series Tim Schafer said that some idea which is introduced in Psychonauts, such as family of Raz, history of them, and the curse which continues to affect thier family. This things will be explored in the sequel. Raz will also understand about the term “girlfirend”.
