We all know that E3 2020 was cancelled in the last year. At that time, the E3 organizers were sure that it is impossible to arrange a digital replacement in time; an “alternative E3” of gaming live streams was arranged throughout the summer. So, for this year, E3 2021 is going online only.
The ESA has officially informed that E3 2021 will be held from June 12 to June 15. The ESA suggested E3 earlier this year to include a media preview day and three days of live streams, including keynotes and awards, show, and several premium components.
The E3 events confirmed so far:
- Official E3 Livestream starts from June 12 to June 15.
- Ubisoft Forward is an official E3 stream – 12 pm PT, June 12.
- The PC Gaming Show is going to return in June.
- The Future Games Show returns with events in June and August.
- The ESA has announced Square Enix, Sega, Bandai Namco, XSEED, Gearbox Entertainment, Freedom Games, and Devious Eye Entertainment will all be participating in E3.
Beyond those official E3 stream events, here’s what else is coming throughout the summer:
- The Guerilla Collective is streaming on Saturday, June 5th, and Saturday, June 12th and also hosting Black Voices in Gaming and Wholesome Direct on those days.
- EA Play is being held on July 22nd
- Xbox will hold a summer event that includes more Bethesda games
- Geoff Keighley won’t be involved with E3 but is bringing back his Summer Game Fest starting in June
