Alia Bhatt’s “Sita Aaj Lanka Khud Jalane Aayi Hai” Moment in the Alpha Trailer Is Already Breaking the Internet — and July 3 Can’t Come Soon Enough!

Bollywood’s YRF Spy Universe just got its most electrifying upgrade yet. The Alpha trailer is out, and it’s doing something the franchise has never dared to do before — put two fierce women front and centre as the deadliest agents on screen.

Alia Bhatt’s Film Overview

What Is Alpha About?

Alpha marks the YRF Spy Universe’s very first female-led actioner. The trailer introduces the story of Sita — a young girl meticulously trained by her father, played by Bobby Deol — who is prepped for a high-risk project. The ‘Alpha’ program is revealed to be full of betrayal, forcing Alia’s character to go rogue against the very system that created her.

It’s an origin story driven by emotion, sharp action, and a betrayal at the very core — exactly the kind of layered storytelling that makes spy films impossible to look away from. For more Bollywood film updates and trailer reviews,

The Line That’s Already Going Viral

In a powerful moment from the trailer, Alia Bhatt’s character delivers a line that sets the entire tone for the film — “Sita aaj lanka khud jalane aayi hai.”

That single line encapsulates the entire energy of Alpha — a woman who was shaped by forces beyond her control, now ready to burn it all down on her own terms. Chills. Every. Single. Time.

Sharvari Matches Alia Blow for Blow

The trailer finally unleashes Sharvari in all her glory. Looking incredibly fierce and dangerous, she matches Alia’s explosive energy and punches — and the high-octane combat sequences between the two leading ladies are raw and undeniably groundbreaking.

This is exactly what audiences have been waiting for — two women leading a big-budget Bollywood actioner as equals, not sidekicks.

The Hrithik Roshan Crossover Twist

At the end of the trailer, the makers officially tease a massive crossover twist that has sent shockwaves — Hrithik Roshan makes a surprise appearance, cementing Alpha’s ties to the franchise.

The universe keeps expanding — and fans of the spy franchise are absolutely losing their minds over it.
