Alexander Sorloth has arrived in Madrid to complete his medical for the transfer to Atletico Madrid. The Norwegian striker is set to make the move for a fee worth €30 million up-front, plus €5 million in add-ons.
He has also accepted the contract proposal from the Rojiblancos, and it is only a matter of time before the formalities are completed and he is announced as a new signing for them.

Sørloth and his long time agent Morten Wivestad, arrived today after completing the agreement on personal terms.

The 27-year-old finished second in the race for the Pichichi Award last season, scoring 23 goals in LaLiga. Artem Dovbyk was one of the targets for Atletico Madrid as well, but the Ukrainian chose to join Roma instead.
Atletico have acted quickly and have now replaced Memphis Depay and Alvaro Morata with a solid number nine.
The capital club is also interested in signing Conor Gallagher from Chelsea, with an agreement in place over a €45 million deal. However, the player is yet to discuss the terms of a contract with them amidst pressure from the Blues management.
