Alcatel is preparing to launch its Alcatel V3 Ultra smartphone in India soon. While the official launch date has yet to be announced, recent leaks suggest a possible price range for the device in the Indian market.

Alcatel, which is now a standalone unit within TCL Communication, has so far only mentioned the V3 Ultra. But new reports now suggest it will be released with two additional variants. The V3 Ultra is rumored to offer dedicated display modes for different sports. These latest Alcatel handsets can be purchased from Flipkart.

Alcatel to Launch Three V Series Smartphones in India, Including the V3 Ultra with 108MP Camera

As per a report by GizmoChina, Alcatel’s V series will comprise Alcatel V3 Ultra, V3 Pro, and V3 Classic. Among them, the V3 Ultra is expected to be the top-end variant, which is believed to come at less than ₹30,000. It is reported that the series will feature an advanced eye-care feature that will help in preventing eye strain.

Madhav Sheth, the founder and tech advisor of Alcatel, recently confirmed the upcoming release of the V3 Ultra and highlighted its dedicated display modes for activities like reading, watching videos, and scrolling. The phone is also expected to support stylus input and come equipped with a triple rear camera setup. Alcatel’s upcoming phones will be sold exclusively via Flipkart’s main platform and Flipkart Minutes. The V3 Ultra listing on Flipkart reveals it will sport TCL’s proprietary NXTPAPER display technology.

Production is being handled in collaboration with Padget Electronics, a Dixon Technologies subsidiary. Speculated specifications for the V3 Ultra include a 6.8-inch display, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, and a 5,010mAh battery. The primary rear camera is rumored to be a 108-megapixel sensor. The launch event for the Alcatel V3 series is expected on May 27 at 11 am IST.
