Want to know more, then no worries because we have got you. Here in this article, we are going to discuss more about this. So without any delays let’s dive in.

Alan Wake 2 Sold 1.3 Million Units

As you may already know Alan Wake 2 is a famous title by Remedy also a sequel to the same title. Soon after its release, it made players its fans and now they are loving it.

And they love it so much that they have made this game achieve a milestone of selling 1.3 million units. It’s great news for the gaming studio.

Alan Wake 2 was released in November last year and is based on the horror survival genre. It was developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by Epic Games Publishing. Alan Wake 2 is based on a best-selling novel by Alan Wake, where the hero is trapped in alternative dimensions.

Now to escape he is writing a horror story also involving an FBI special agent. The storyline is truly unique and out of the league than other games. And its sequel means that the first part was also loved by players.

The Alan Wake 2 was released for the PC,  Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. These are major gaming platforms where you can find the game.

Talking about the gameplay, this part is different from its predecessors, as the latter was an action-adventure game, while Alan Wake 2 is a horror survival game. In the game, there is a third-person perspective and it is a single-player game.

After its release, the game was appreciated by players and critics both.

Also, it was nominated for numerous Game of the Awards. So we can say it is pretty much popular among players.

And that’s completely understandable, with such a unique storyline and engaging gameplay everyone will love to play this game. However, its sales were not that good.

In the first months after its release Alan Wake 2 didn’t sell many copies. Also, for the time being, there were no sales records of the game. Reportedly in the last month of the previous year, it sold around 1 million units.

This year in the first months it sold more units and made Remedy announce it as the fastest-selling game. We hope that it sells more units in the future and soon becomes the talk of the player community.
