Akanksha Chamola Has No Time for Ram Kapoor’s “It Happens by Mistake” in Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa

Lock Upp 2 wasted no time delivering its first major ideological clash. In the show’s latest episode, veteran actor Ram Kapoor’s casual defense of infidelity didn’t sit well with co-contestant Akanksha Chamola, who fired back with a sharp, no-nonsense reality check.

How the debate started

The conversation kicked off when fellow contestant Shreya Kalra asked Ram Kapoor whether he’d seek another relationship if he discovered his partner had been unfaithful. Ram’s response leaned into the complexity of long-term marriage, arguing that two decades together inevitably bring highs and lows, and that genuine love means nothing should be a complete dealbreaker.

Ram Kapoor’s defense of infidelity

Ram elaborated further, framing marriage as something requiring daily effort, and suggesting that during a particularly rough patch, infidelity could happen almost accidentally, something he described as a mistake rather than a deliberate betrayal. His comments positioned forgiveness and time as the ultimate healers in a relationship.

Akanksha’s sharp rebuttal

Akanksha, who had only just revealed her own impending divorce earlier in the season, wasn’t convinced. She pushed back firmly, pointing out that physical intimacy involves a clear sequence of deliberate actions and choices, comparing it to something far more intentional than an accidental slip-up, unlike, say, an actual physical accident.

A pattern of clashes for Ram

This isn’t Ram Kapoor’s first heated moment on the show. He’s already drawn criticism from viewers for past comments directed at host Riteish Deshmukh, adding to a growing reputation as one of the season’s more controversial personalities.

These kinds of candid, unscripted debates are exactly what fuel the appeal of reality television as a genre, where unfiltered personal opinions often generate as much conversation as the show’s actual format.

With emotional confessions and ideological standoffs already defining the early episodes, Lock Upp 2 looks set to keep viewers talking all season. For more reality TV updates, contestant drama, and entertainment news, check out TechnoSports for ongoing coverage.

Why this matters for viewers

This exchange highlights the generational and personal divide in how infidelity gets discussed publicly, especially with Akanksha bringing lived experience into the conversation just episodes after revealing her own divorce.
