In a rare and refreshing display of camaraderie over competition, two of Bollywood’s biggest stars have chosen to give each other space rather than fight it out at the box office. After a mutual discussion between Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar, the makers of Dhamaal 4 have decided to shift its release from July 4 to July 17, 2026, in order to avoid a clash with Akshay Kumar’s Welcome To The Jungle. Why the Date Was Changed?

According to a report by Hindustan Times, Ajay Devgn reportedly spoke directly to Akshay Kumar, and following mutual discussions, the makers agreed to shift Dhamaal 4 from July 4 to July 17, 2026.

A source quoted by the publication stated that Ajay and Akshay had been friends for a long time, even before they became massive stars, and both understood the importance of giving every film sufficient breathing space. Both actors also produce films themselves — so the discussion reportedly went smoothly, with both agreeing that audiences would need a gap between the two comedy entertainers.

That’s two industry heavyweights putting sense before ego — and honestly, it’s a lesson Bollywood needed.
