When a film leaves audiences asking for more, the best response is simple: give them more. That’s exactly what the team behind Saiyaara is doing — and this time, the excitement around the reunion feels even bigger.

The Reunion That Bollywood Has Been Waiting For

According to sources, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda will begin shooting for Mohit Suri’s next directorial venture in October–November 2026. The film is presently in the pre-production stage, with the team actively working on various aspects before cameras start rolling.

A source revealed: “Ahaan and Aneet are reuniting with Mohit Suri for a fresh romantic story. There is a lot of excitement within the team as they come together after the phenomenal response of Saiyaara.”

Saiyaara, it’s worth noting, closed at an impressive Rs 568 crore worldwide — setting the bar sky-high for whatever comes next.

What the Director Himself Said?

Mohit Suri, one of Bollywood’s most celebrated architects of emotional love stories — with a track record including films like Aashiqui 2 — shared his headspace for the reunion project with characteristic passion:

“It’s always been love stories for me. Overwhelming — when emotions are so unbound, self-consuming and become impossible to ignore. Love is supposed to be felt intensely, and that’s why I naturally gravitate towards this as a storyteller. Reuniting, coming back home but with a renewed creative hunger. This time I feel like a newcomer, excited, anxious about this story, and I hope my music will again touch people.”

That last line about music is telling — Mohit Suri’s films are known as much for their soulful soundtracks as their storylines, and fans can clearly expect nothing less this time.

What the Actors Are Up to Before Shoot Begins

At present, both actors are occupied with their individual commitments. Ahaan Panday is shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar’s next film and is expected to wrap his portions by July. Aneet Padda is busy filming Shakti Shalini. Once they complete their ongoing projects, both actors will shift focus to Mohit Suri’s romantic drama.
