Adobe Premiere Rush: A new way of editing videos on your smartphone

Adobe stands to be the pioneer of video editing software with its Adobe Premiere Pro. They also entered the mobile app market, transforming all of its software into apps.

Adobe video editing software has been on Android for some time now along with Adobe Premiere Elements. So what’s the point of introducing Adobe Premiere Rush?

This editor is a very handy one if you are looking to edit videos on the go without missing the essential features that you get on your full-fledged Premier Pro software.

You get unlimited exports with Premiere Rush on all of your devices (phone, tablet, and desktop), and 100GB of cloud storage for just US$9.99/mo (optional in-app purchase) or with select Adobe Creative Cloud membership plans

The Interface

After being used to editing on the desktop version of Premiere Pro, this was a different experience all totally. I used the Premiere Pro Clip, which I feel was ok for a mobile point of view.

The intuitive and smooth interface of Premiere Rush made me feel as if I was working on an undercut mobile version of the actual PC software.

I tested out on the Realme 3 Pro to check out the experience on a mid-range smartphone. The app works like a charm on Snapdragon-powered smartphones.

The Adobe Rush retains some essential video editing features that you get on the PC software version.

Video Quality

After completing the video, the rendering process begins which completely depend on the length of the video and the processor of your smartphone.

You can export 4K videos up to 60 frames per second, but overall as a mobile edited video, the video output is quite decent, a better option if you are looking to edit videos on the go a lot.

If you own the free version of the app, you are just limited to export videos only up to 3 times. You need to pay $9.99 monthly for unlimited exports and avail the 100GB of CC storage.

If you need a quick editing app, then the Adobe Premiere Rush won’t disappoint you at all. Do use it from here and share your experience in the comments down below… 🙂
