The versatile actor Ayushmann Khurrana came with the satirical thriller film titled, ‘An Action Hero‘. In this film, the actor is going to be self-involved getting involved in the high stakes set to chase the plot with one of his movies.
Ayushmann Khurrana appears as the popular Bollywood star Maanav getting accused to kill Jaideep Ahlawat’s brother in this film. We will see Jaideep Ahlawat as Bhoora. He is the brother of the man who died in the accident. Bhoora swears vengeance and getting engages with Maanav. Maanav is an actor whose life takes the exact opposite turn after he gets accused of murdering a municipal councilor’s brother. There is a glimpse of Malaika Arora who will dance to a special song.
The new trailer has a strong impact as it starts with Ayushmann’s car colliding with Jaideep’s car. Soon, the plot of the film turns into a cat-and-mouse chasing game as Ayushmann arrives in London to protect his life from him. After he is still unable to hide as he has followed him very well. There is a huge number of confusion arising as London cops take a part in their fight.
Maanav still doesn’t believe his bad luck in this case, with the same fans who once tripped over for selfies, now calling for his blood. All of his movies getting boycotted. The film contains some interesting sequels that can easily seek the attention of the audience. The first line of Jaideep and the way he has thrown his dialogue with a Haryanvi accent are really amazing.
The lead actor Ayushmann said, “It is a genre breaker for me. It is different from my staple genre of social comedy and there is no message in it. There is pure thrill. It is a roller coaster ride. This film is about an extraordinary man in an ordinary situation. The emotion of revenge is an ordinary thing but if a superstar happens to be in that ordinary situation, how he deals with it, is what the story is about.”
Jaideep who become famous after Pataal Lok, said, “You will not be able to say who is a hero or villain. Everyone has their own reason to do things. I never thought of the character as a villain because he has strong reasons behind Ayushmann,”
An Action Hero: Cast
The movie has been directed by Anirudh Iyer, who served as an assistant director on Aanand L Rai’s Tanu Weds Manu Returns and ‘Zero’. The screenplay has been penned by Neeraj Yadav. In this film, we will see Ayushmann Khurrana as Maanav and Jaideep Ahlawat as Bhoora.
An Action Hero: Release Date
The new thriller film will hit on 2nd December 2022.
