POCO F6 series is expected to officially launch globally as well as in India (or at least just the POCO F6). The new model will be termed POCO F6, which follows up on last year’s POCO F5. However, just ahead of the official announcement, it has come to our attention that POCO accidentally revealed the pricing of POCO F6 in India through the Flipkart banner. There was also a leak of information related to bank offers and details regarding the sale as well.
Rumors About the POCO F6 Pricing
If the above Flipkart banner, which mistakenly seems to have been activated a day ahead of schedule on the mobile app, is true then going by the routine POCO pricing strategy model will sell starting at ₹29,999 for the base 8GB RAM/256GB storage version. For your reference, the POCO F5 was announced at ₹29,999 for the 8GB/256GB version and ₹33,999 for the 12GB/256GB model.
The banner also mentions a ₹2,000 instant discount via ICICI Credit card and EMI transactions. In addition to this, the exchange bonus of ₹2,000 can be availed as well. It is not yet clear whether the two offers are “stackable” – that is, both apply together – but if they can be, then base pricing would drop further and may fall all the way down to ₹25,999.
The listing further revealed that the POCO F6 will be available for purchase starting on May 29th, at 12 PM IST. If this information holds true, then the POCO F6 would certainly offer good value for money if it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC — a chipset that’s said to be right below the SD 8 Gen 3 processor in terms of performance.
Once the POCO F6 becomes official, expect it to go up against this newly launched Realme GT 6T as well. The device carries a price tag of ₹30,999 for its 8GB + 128GB model, ₹32,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model, whereas the top-tiered variants with configurations like (12/256) and (12/512), bear price tags of: ₹35,999 and ₹39,999 respectively.
Powering the Realme GT 6T is a Snapdragon 7+ Gen3 processor, meaning it’s less capable than the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. With aggressive pricing and the touted features, it is likely to be one competition-breaking device – making POCO F6 a solid option for someone looking for performance at a justified price tag.
