Tottenham have reportedly offered a massive deal to Harry Kane. However, the forward hasn’t any intentions yet to sign it, at least not during the phase the window is open.
Tottenham offers a massive deal to Harry Kane, but the forward has no immediate interest to sign
Harry Kane, at present, makes £200,000 a week in London. The Guardian claimed that the proposed new deal would promise a significant hike to that figure.
Harry Kane has his existing contract expiring next summer, which indicates he’s free to leave for ‘free’ until he signs an extension.
Given this scenario, it would be Tottenham’s last chance to onboard the striker; however, they have stated he’s not for sale. Kane has turned down a nearly £70m bid from Bayern Munich.
Munich is ready to go for another bid this week and is confident that an £80m plus add-ons might get Daniel Levy in the discussion.
Levy is still of the opinion that he can convince Kane to agree his long-term future is better at North London because of a new and improved deal and the club’s prospects under new manager Ange Postecoglou.
Spurs have already included goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario and midfielder James Maddison in their ranks and are almost done with the signing of Manor Solomon. Kane must need to believe that the team can reach a position to win things with the forward, who steps 30 this month and is due to win a trophy.
Meeting with the new manager
Kane hasn’t met his new manager yet and is due to report for pre-season early the next week.
The Spur star has just a year left in North London. Reportedly, he told Tuchel during their secret meet in May that he would be interested in teaming up with Bundesliga champions and battling for trophies in Bavaria next season.
