A Cricketer, a DM, and a Secret: “Not Gonna Lie” Just Got Its Juiciest Episode Yet

Pinkvilla Buzz’s hit show Not Gonna Lie just dropped an episode that’s already got fans buzzing — and it’s all thanks to one bombshell confession about a mystery cricketer sliding into some very unexpected DMs.

Hosted by the ever-entertaining duo Aarush Bhola and Varun Yadav, the show is known for pulling raw, unfiltered confessions out of its guests in front of a live studio audience. This episode delivered exactly that, with the guest teasing not one but three secrets — and the first one alone left the hosts scrambling for answers.

What Went Down on Not Gonna Lie?

The Chase for Clues

As soon as the guest revealed a “popular cricketer” had messaged her, the studio erupted. Aarush and Varun immediately jumped into detective mode, throwing out guesses and playful jabs while trying to crack the mystery player’s identity. Things got even funnier when references to Varun’s now-iconic “Laila” persona got dragged into the mix, adding extra chaos to an already lively segment.

When pressed on whether her admirer swings the bat or bowls it, she confirmed — he’s a bowler. But before speculation could spiral further, she clarified she never actually responded, keeping the DM firmly unanswered.

More Secrets Still to Come

The episode wrapped on a nostalgic cliffhanger, with the guest revealing her first love was a boy from Delhi — setting up plenty of anticipation for the segments still to come. Shows like this tap into the same appeal that’s made cricket India’s most talked-about sport off the field as much as on it, blending celebrity buzz with everyday curiosity.
