“A Bona Fide Killer” Preview: Kong Hyo Jin’s Past Comes Back to Haunt Her

A sniper hiding behind a sales spreadsheet is one thing. A sniper forced to relive her darkest childhood memory mid-assignment? That’s the gut-punch MBC’s “A Bona Fide Killer” is setting up next — and the new stills prove it’s about to get personal.

A Bona Fide Killer: Catch-Up

Gong Hyo-jin stars as Yu Bo Na, an ordinary sales manager at Durumi Electronics who’s secretly “Kingfisher” — a legendary sniper hunting down criminals who escaped real justice.

What’s Coming in the Next Episode

New stills show Yu Bo Na visibly shaken ahead of meeting her next client — a child abuser who walked free with a shockingly light sentence. It’s a case that drags up buried trauma: Bo Na was once shown as a child, watching an orphanage burn while holding someone’s hand. This new assignment threatens to reopen that wound entirely.

There’s a softer beat too — Bo Na, Kwon Tae Sung, and their daughter enjoy a rare family day at an amusement park, riding attractions and snapping happy photos. But given this show’s pacing, that peace won’t last long.

Meanwhile, the psychological tug-of-war between Kwon Tae Sung and Lee Dong Jin keeps tightening. Tae Sung was present at two separate Kingfisher shootings, and Dong Jin isn’t letting that go — creating exactly the kind of slow-burn tension that made this series climb K-drama rankings so fast, as noted in TechnoSports’ rundown of the week’s buzziest dramas, where “A Bona Fide Killer” jumped straight to No. 2.

When to Watch
