Finding Golden Chiral Creatures in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach can be tricky, but these elusive creatures are essential for earning the coveted “Conqueror of the Golden CC” trophy. This comprehensive guide will help you locate, approach, and successfully eliminate these rare enemies while maximizing your Chiral Crystal rewards.

What Are Golden Chiral Creatures?

Golden Chiral Creatures are rare, shimmering variants of regular Chiral Creatures that spawn in specific locations throughout the game world. These golden creatures typically can be found near tar pits and their surrounding areas, making them valuable targets for both trophy hunters and resource farmers.

Prime Locations for Golden Chiral Creatures

Rocky Terrain East of Animal Shelter

The rocky terrain east of the Animal Shelter is your best bet to find a Golden Chiral Creature, specifically on the ridge in the area. This location consistently spawns these rare creatures, making it the most reliable farming spot.

Tar Pool Areas

The tar pools and surrounding areas are where Golden Chiral Creatures like to congregate. Look for floating strands of tar that indicate nearby tar pits, then search the immediate vicinity.

East of Animal Shelter	High	Early morning/Night	Ridge area specifically
Tar Pool Surroundings	Medium	Early morning/Night	Look for floating tar strands
Architect’s Tar Pools	Medium	Variable	Multiple spawn points

Hunting Strategy and Tips

Timing Matters

Golden Chiral Creatures are encountered very early in the morning and throughout the night. Avoid hunting during daylight hours as spawn rates significantly decrease.

Approach Carefully

Getting too close to Golden Chiral Creatures causes them to flee and escape. Maintain distance and use ranged weapons or abilities to engage them effectively.

Respawn Mechanics

If a Golden Chiral Creature escapes, don’t panic. Wait for a while or rest at a nearby shelter to reset the spawn. The creatures will eventually return to their designated areas.

Rewards and Benefits

Golden Chiral Creatures drop significantly more Chiral Crystals than their regular counterparts. These ghostly creatures leave crystals behind after elimination, especially valuable for boss BTs encountered throughout the main story.

Trophy Requirements

Successfully eliminating Golden Chiral Creatures contributes to the “Conqueror of the Golden CC” trophy, one of the game’s challenging achievements for completionists.
