Bollywood’s Khiladi, Akshay Kumar, is back with a bang—and this time, he’s trading high-octane action for spooky comedy in the upcoming horror flick Bhoot Bangla. But what’s got fans buzzing isn’t just the film’s eerie premise—it’s a steamy dance sequence featuring Akshay and rising star Wamiqa Gabbi, shot against the breathtaking backdrop of a cascading waterfall. A recently leaked BTS (Behind-the-Scenes) clip from the sets has sent social media into a frenzy, showcasing the duo’s sizzling chemistry and high-energy moves.

Directed by Farhad Samji, Bhoot Bangla promises to blend chills and thrills with Akshay’s signature humor. However, it’s this unexpected romantic dance interlude—set to a peppy track composed by Tanishk Bagchi—that’s stealing the spotlight. From the picturesque location to Wamiqa’s mesmerizing screen presence, here’s why this sequence is already being hailed as one of 2025’s most anticipated Bollywood moments.

Akshay Kumar & Wamiqa Gabbi BTS Clip: What Makes It So Special?

The 30-second clip, shared by a crew member on Instagram, opens with Akshay Kumar in a rugged avatar, sporting a sleeveless jacket and his trademark swagger. Wamiqa Gabbi, draped in a flowy white ensemble, matches his energy step-for-step as they groove to a foot-tapping Punjabi beat. What sets this dance apart is its organic, unscripted vibe—Akshay’s playful expressions and Wamiqa’s effortless grace make it feel more like a spontaneous celebration than a choreographed routine.

The waterfall setting, filmed in Munnar, Kerala, adds a dreamy, cinematic quality. Cinematographer Dudley’s use of natural light and mist creates an almost mythical atmosphere, elevating the sequence beyond typical Bollywood song-and-dance numbers. Fans have drawn comparisons to Akshay’s iconic ‘Tip Tip Barsa’ rain dance, but with a fresh, contemporary twist.

Wamiqa Gabbi: The Scene-Stealing Debutante

While Akshay’s star power is undeniable, it’s Wamiqa Gabbi who’s emerging as the dark horse of Bhoot Bangla. The Jubilee and Khufiya actress, known for her nuanced performances, showcases a completely different side here—her confidence and sensuality in the dance clip have left audiences wanting more. Stylist Tanya Ghavri revealed that Wamiqa’s look was intentionally kept ethereal yet earthy, with minimal jewelry and loose waves to complement the natural surroundings.

Industry insiders suggest this role could catapult Wamiqa into the Bollywood A-list, much like Kiara Advani’s breakout in Kabir Singh. Her ability to hold her own opposite a megastar like Akshay speaks volumes about her screen presence.

Behind the Choreography: The Minds Behind the Magic

The dance sequence, choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, blends Bollywood masala with a touch of folk. Acharya shared in an interview: “We wanted raw energy, not polished perfection. Akshay’s spontaneity and Wamiqa’s grace made it magical.” The team rehearsed for 10 days on slippery rocks to perfect the routine without compromising safety.

The song, tentatively titled “Jadoo Jhappi”, is composed by Tanishk Bagchi with lyrics by Kumaar. Early reports describe it as a romantic Punjabi track with haunting undertones—fitting for a horror-comedy.
