HTech founder Madhav Sheth confirmed last month that he is collaborating with the Nxtcell team to bring Alcatel smartphones to India. Recently, Sheth teased a new smartphone powered by NxtQ and NxtQuantum OS, set to launch soon. Details are few and far between, but here’s what we know about this exciting new product.

Madhav Sheth Teases NxtQuantum OS-Powered Smartphone Launch in India with Punch-Hole Display and More
In an X (formerly Twitter) post, Sheth also teased that the new smartphone has been “imagined and built in India,” which means it will be designed and manufactured in the country. The teaser also revealed that the phone will be powered by a new NxtQuantum OS, a new mobile OS. But, details about certain aspects of the phone and the OS are not available as of now – the NxtQuantum OS website is fit to burst with only a few morsels of information, mostly sharing what Sheth is teasing.
More information has come to light about the smartphone via a Flipkart listing, though this does not reveal much except confirming that the phone will be sold on the e-commerce website. This listing confirms that this smartphone will come with a punch-hole display, just like the contemporary trend. The listing also suggests that the device is likely to launch with a next-gen screen that includes modes for reading, viewing, scrolling, and creating, ideal for a wide range of user preferences.
It’s also important to note that the smartphone teased by Sheth is not the one that was earlier hinted at by Alcatel and Sheth. Alcatel said last month that it will soon launch a series of new devices in the Indian market, beginning with a smartphone with a stylus. Sheth had also confirmed earlier this month that the Alcatel V3 Ultra, which will also sport a stylus and the circular camera setup, will be launched in the country soon. The new smartphone ‘NXT’ equipped with NxtQuantum OS, is set to add to the series of smartphones in the Indian market segment. We’ll keep you posted as more information comes our way before launch.
