Amazon Prime Day 2025 to Return in July with Big Discounts on Electronics, Beauty, Kitchen & More
In a press release dated April 30, Amazon stated that Prime members in India get a host of benefits such as unlimited free one-day and two-day delivery on eligible items from India’s largest selection of products; early access to sales and discounts; and 4-hour delivery on certain products. These benefits work to create a richer shopping experience for Prime members.
Prime Day 2025 will include special deals on electronics, home goods, beauty products, and more. The live stream of the event will be accessible in a number of countries such as India, the US, the UK, Australia, Canada, Japan and a few European countries. But there is no word on exactly when Prime Day 2025 will be.
Amazon also released the Prime Day 2024 highlights, where they served more than 41 crore items on this day or the next day. Independent small business (SMB) made a big showing—sales elsewhere were up 30% year-over-year. Notably, women entrepreneurs, weavers, and artisans are big sellers too, who sold more than 1,600 units per minute in fine examples of Prime Day supporting small businesses.
In India, a full Prime membership costs ₹1,499 annually, while Prime Lite is available for ₹799, offering limited Prime Video benefits. Additionally, Amazon offers a Prime Shopping Edition at ₹299, which provides access to shopping benefits but does not include Prime Video or Amazon Music.
