DXOMark is considered as an independent benchmark which tells you about the smartphones and cameras. They unveiled a new category of testing. This new category includes ranking smartphone displays. It has been added because smartphone displays always play one of the most important roles when we are using the device.
DXOMark takes into account six subcategories like legibility, artifacts, colour, video, motion, and touch. A new report has been released today which now includes Vivo X51 in the Display ranking list.
Vivo X51 was launched in the UK and Europe in October 2020. It received a DXOMark score of 87. This is a huge score for this Chinese smartphone as it ties them with the likes of iPhone 12 Pro and Galaxy S20 Ultra. All the three smartphones are on the third spot currently on the list. The best part is that Vivo X51 missed the first spot by only two points. Thus, it shows how highly rated this Vivo smartphone is.
The current first spot is held by Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra with 89 points. According to the report, Vivo X51 lagged behind in Video and Touch categories. Due to these two sections, Vivo X51 ended up on the third spot. Another weaker spot is found related to brightness in the outdoors, though it still has a good blue light filter. Touch accuracy during gaming and lack of smoothness are the handset’s other shortcomings.
The handset has performed reasonably well indoor. It has good readability senses which help the device to thrive indoors. Apart from that, indoor brightness and motion-blur are two other pros of the mobile. Following are the display specs of the Vivo X51 smartphone.
- Size: 6.56-inch
- Dimensions: 158.5 x 72.8 x 8 mm
- Type: AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate
- Resolution: 1080 x 2376 pixels
The blue light filter which we talked about earlier is present in iPhone 12 Pro. It aided the users by making reading in the night more eye-friendly. Following are the display specs of the Vivo X51 smartphone.
