The renowned television manufacturer Hisense (also sells smartphones in its home country) has recently launched the Hisense A7 5G smartphone as the world’s first E-ink display smartphone with 5G connectivity. Every smartphone of A-series from Hisense is known for E-ink display as it launched the world’s first color E-ink display smartphones such as Hisense A5C, Hisense A5 Pro, Hisense A5 Pro CC earlier this year. The Hisense A7 5G is exclusively available in China at a price tag of ¥1,999 ($305).
Previously launched A-series smartphones feature E-link display, but not the 5G connectivity. But this recently launched Hisense A7 5G is 5G compatible. This phone features a 6.7-inch standard black and white E-ink display with 300 ppi. This phone runs on the Android 10 Os and is powered by the UNISOC Tiger T7510 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. However, this phone supports Hi-Res Audio, courtesy to its AK4377AECB audio DAC and it includes a 3.5mm headphone jack as well.
This phone features an anti-glare matte panel on which a single rear camera is there supported by an LED flash. It has a rear-mounted capacitive fingerprint sensor. The front camera supported AI face unlock as well. In terms of buttons, on the right side, this phone has a power button as well as the volume rockers and on the left side, there is an AI key to perform several actions. The Hisense A7 5G is fueled up by a 4,770mAH battery with support for 18W fast charging.
