Infinix NOTE 50s 5G+ to Launch with Unique Scent-Tech Feature

Infinix plans to add a new feature called “Energizing Scent-Tech” to their upcoming NOTE 50s 5G+ model after already bringing the NOTE 50x 5G+ to India last month. Launched in the Marine Drift Blue colourway that is only available with this feature, the addition is aimed at enhancing the smartphone experience with the inclusion of aroma to the smartphone.

The NOTE 50s 5G+ boasts of Microencapsulation Technology, which allows the scent to be infused into the vegan leather back panel, fully releasing fragrance that will last through time. Marine Drift Blue opens with a splash of marine notes and lemon, layered with lily of the valley in the middle and ending with deep earthy notes of amber and vetiver. It is a solid milestone on the path of reinterpreting how to use a smartphone, activating not just sight and touch but also the smell.

Infinix has noted that the strength and duration of the fragrance may vary based on user habits and environmental factors. The company framed this feature as a method to deliver more immersive and personalized user experience. In addition to this audio upgrade, an official press image has shown that the NOTE 50s 5G+ will have a 64MP Sony IMX682 main sensor. The smartphone will be launched in India on April 18th and will be available in three colour options including, Marine Drift Blue, Titanium Grey and Ruby Red.

The Marine Drift Blue version will be the only one to feature the Scent-Tech functionality, while the Titanium Grey and Ruby Red trims will be coated in stunning metallic shades. With this launch, Infinix is taking an unconventional approach to smartphone design, adding an extra layer of personalization for users who want a device that appeals to multiple senses. The NOTE 50s 5G+ is set to write the next chapter in the innovative and aesthetic journey.
