There were 8 teams who got preseason action across the league. Big names like Kevin Durant, Zion Williamson, Anthony Davis and LeBron James took on the floor. Here is a quick recap of the matches.

Arguably, the best duo in the league right now, Anthony Davis and LeBron James played their first match of the NBA preseason after a short 2 months break winning the NBA Championship. The Los Angeles Lakers played the Phoenix Suns, led by veteran Chris Paul and All-Star Devin Booker. Lakers won the match by a close margin of 1 point, 114-113. LeBron James had 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in 24 minutes of action. Anthony Davis had 35 points in his 29 minutes of action.

Nets outplay Boston as Durant looks to be back in form :-

Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving led Brooklyn Nets played against Boston at the TD Garden. Nets got a crushing victory, winning the match 113-89. Kyrie Irving, who played his former team, finished with 17 points to go along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Kevin Durant ended the game with 225 points and 6 rebounds, looking a lot like the old, in-form Kevin Durant we all once saw consistently.

Zion Williamson shines as New Orleans defeat Bucks :-

New Orleans Pelicans hosted Milwaukee Bucks at the Smoothie King Center. The Bucks were playing without the back-to-back MVP, Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Pelicans grabbed a 127-113 victory. Seeing 31 minutes of action, Pelicans’ young star, Williamson led the team with 31 points.

Other teams like the Nuggets, Bulls, Knicks, Sixers and Heat grabbed a victory in their last preseason match ahead of the 2020-2021 NBA regular season
