MediaTek has officially confirmed that the Dimensity Developer Conference 2025 (MDDC 2025) will be held on April 11 in Shenzhen, China. The event will likely highlight the new ecosystem solutions alongside the next-generation Dimensity 9400+ chipset. MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ to Debut at MDDC 2025, Expected to Power Oppo, Vivo, iQOO, Realme, and Xiaomi Flagships
Announced October 2024, the all-big-core CPU architecture of the Dimensity 9400 which consists of one Cortex-X925 ultra-core at 3.62GHz, three Cortex-X4 cores at 3.3GHz, and four Cortex-A720 cores at 2.4GHz. Now, it seems that an overclocked version of the chip called the Dimensity 9400+, is in the pipeline, as the X925 core in the SoC has been pushed to a whopping 3.7GHz for added performance.
Multiple companies are expected to launch their premium smartphones powered by the Dimensity 9400+ chipset. Other devices include the Oppo Find X8S, Find X8S+, Vivo X200S, and iQOO Neo 10S Pro. Along with that, we can also see the chip appearing in Realme’s GT series flagship, likely the Realme Neo 7 Pro, as well as the OnePlus Ace 5S and Redmi K80 Ultra. The Oppo Find X8S, Find X8S+, and Vivo X200S will arrive in April in China, and in Neo 10S will come in May. We could also see the Realme, OnePlus, and Redmi flagship devices launching in the first half of the year.
According to reports, Xiaomi is expected to bring the Xiaomi 15T Pro to the global market some months after the conference. Similar to how the Xiaomi 14T Pro was equipped with the Dimensity 9300+ chipset, the 15T Pro is expected to feature the Dimensity 9400+ SoC. With multiple brands set to adopt MediaTek’s latest chipset, the Dimensity 9400+ is expected to bring notable performance improvements across flagship devices in 2025.
