The search engine giant Google always concern about its employees’ safety. The company’s new move again shows that. A report of the New York Times on Monday reported that Google is allowing the 3 days office a week facility till September of 2021. That means the Google employees have to come to their offices only 3 days a week till September, the rest of the working days the staff needs to be active from their houses.
The report also says that the CEO, Sundar Pichai informed the staff through email the company is also testing the “flexible workweek” idea once it becomes safe to return to the office.
Mr Pichai wrote in the email, “We are testing a hypothesis that a flexible work model will lead to greater productivity, collaboration, and well-being,”
No need to say, Google is not the only company allowing work from home. From the very beginning of the coronavirus outbreak, most of the technology-based and related companies already switched to online platforms. Most importantly, maximum of them are trying to continue with the work from home.
