The former Sporting CP midfielder has been in sensational form since joining Manchester United back in January and is one of the main reasons behind their third-place finish of last season, as well as their good showings in the league so far.

Fernandes is without a doubt the most important player at Manchester United right now and will have an extremely vital part to play in the latter stages of the season when every point matters more than ever. Especially considering the open-ended nature of the Premier League campaign this season.

There were rumours that the biggest clubs in the world like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus were keeping tabs on the playmaker for a potential swoop. However, speaking on episode 16 of the “Here We Go” podcast, Fabrizio and Francesco Romano put an end to the speculation regarding his future.

The brothers laid emphasis on the fact that he is very happy at the club, and is also happy with the way things are turning out under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, despite the fact that they got knocked out of the Champions League last night.

Additionally, given the fact that it has only been ten months since he joined the club, the management can rest easy regarding their most valuable asset and let him enjoy his time on the pitch.

There are no talks between the player’s agents or the United board, and Fernandes looks set to stay at the club for a very long time.
