Reliance Jio previously launched its first-ever home-grown mobile browser JioPages last month, and now it has released a new version of it – JioPages 2.0.1. This brings a couple of new changes which we will be discussing in this article:

With this release there will be 3 new features:

1)         Duck Duck Go Search Engine:

•JioPages users can now select Duck Duck Go Search Engine which is privacy-centric. This search engine does not log user information and uses cookies only when required.

•Steps to enable Duck Duck Go Engine in JioPages:

            Bottom right hamburger icon > Settings > Quick settings> Select search engine

2)         Short Videos

•JioPages users can now watch short videos which have a duration of up to 30 seconds.

•There is a dedicated section for short videos. These videos are from various categories such as entertainment, tech, lifestyle, travel etc.

•Short Videos section will help users to discover new content from various genres

•How to view short videos?

               Bottom bar-> Explore section-> Scroll to short videos reel-> View more

3)         Navigation & Exit Buttons

•JioPages has eased navigation with these buttons. With the Exit button, the user will experience a quick exit from the app. Navigation buttons will help users to move back & forth inside JioPages

•How to exit?

        Bottom Hamburger-> exit button

• How to navigate?

       2 navigation buttons ‘< >’ on the bottom left
