POCO seems to be gearing up to launch its next F-series mobile phone, the POCO F7 in global markets. The standard model also recently gained BIS approval, indicating an impending launch in India, while the possible Ultra variant was noticed on Singapore’s IMDA portal. Now, the POCO F7 Ultra is listed on FCC certification, which exposes some hardware specifications.

Possible POCO F7 Ultra Gets FCC Certification, Global Launch Expected Soon
The POCO F-series has established itself as the brand’s flagship series targeting consumers looking for value-for-money options. The FCC listing, which was spotted by 91mobiles Indonesia, shows the model number ‘24122RKC7G’, thought to belong to the POCO F7 Ultra, although previous certifications suggested that this phone might be the standard F7.
The FCC certification reveals that the possible POCO F7 Ultra will come in three configurations: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage. The device is said to be running HyperOS 2, possibly based on Android 15. Connectivity options may include 5G, 4G LTE, BR/EDR/LE Bluetooth, NFC, and Wi-Fi 7. The FCC listing, too, suggests that some LTE and 5G bands will not be usable in the U.S. due to software locks (one of the images has a note to this effect).
The POCO F7 Ultra will most likely be just the rebranded one of the Redmi K80 Pro, which just went on sale recently, the global version, of course. Features of the device include a Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite chipset, a 6.67-inch 2K AMOLED display with HDR10 and Dolby Vision support, a 6000mAh battery with 120W fast charging, and a 50MP telephoto lens.
Redmi K80 Pro price in China starts at CNY 3,699 (roughly ₹43,200) for the base model and goes up to CNY 4,999 (roughly ₹58,400) for the Champion Edition Earlier this year, POCO launched the F6 and the F6 Pro, but the standard POCO F6 is the only variant that came to India. So it will be interesting to see if the brand launches the F7 series in a similar manner, or hopefully decides to do something different this time.
