As for the K-pop song he has been listening to recently, Jin was quick to name Rosé’s “APT” as his favorite choice. Fans were even more excited when he sang a tiny snippet of the chorus. The soft melody of the song tapped into the very nature of Jin’s voice and many fans commented how it sounded like a perfect fit; and his humble appreciation for Rosé’s work also hit home as admirable on social media.

While BTS and BLACKPINK are regularly touted as rivals on the global music scene, Jin’s mention of “APT” reveals a K-pop brotherhood. His honest praise of the track delighted fans. Jin also mentioned during the same interview about an earlier conversation with Jungkook, BTS’ maknae who is currently serving in the army. Offering some advice to his bandmate, Jin encouraged him to “work hard” during his time in the army, sharing his own experiences as the first BTS member to complete military service.
