Western Digital recently has released three new hard drive models themed on Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, to attract the Call of Duty fans. This is for the celebration of the launch of the game. WD is an American HDD manufacturer and data storage company.

Western Digital was founded in 1970. The American hard drive manufacturer has decided to release the custom COD themed version for the existing P10, P50, and the new SN850. The company hopes that this design will attract every COD fan.

Jim Welsh, Senior Vice President of Consumer Solutions at Western Digital, said, “We are excited that this collaboration with Call of Duty allows us to bring this limited edition specially designed drives to their passionate fans. We know gamers are severe when it comes to their gameplay, so we created optimized storage solutions that enable them to keep up with the immersive Call of Duty experience.”

The COD themed game drives come with a limited storage option rather than multiple storage options in the regular P10, P50, and SN850.

The special edition P10 game drive features 2TB storage and has a price tag of $110, which costs $30 more than the regular model. This game drive only supports the current-gen games.

The special edition P50 features a 1 TB storage option with a price tag of $250, which is $50 more than the regular edition model. It delivers a speed of 2,000 Mbps.

Finally, the special COD edition is the company’s first PCIe 4.0 based NVMe SSD drive. The SN850 drive comes with a 1TB storage option. This new model costs only $240.

WD might launch the product in December 2020. If you are interested in these COD themed WD game drives, you can check out the company’s official online store.
